SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM |
Infant Baptism is celebrated on the First and Third Sundays of each month at
12:45 PM in the church. Parents must register at the rectory, please call for an appointment. Attendance is also required at our pre-baptismal class which is held on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM in Room 15 of the 3rd Street School.

LETTERS OF ELIGIBILiTY |
Godparents and sponsors must be at least 16 years old, fully initiated as Catholics and be registered members in good standing with their parish. Please contact the parish office if you wish to be a godparent.

SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE |
Engaged couples must contact the parish office to make an appointment with a priest at least six months before the wedding date. Either the bride or the groom must be a registered member of O.L.M.C. parish. Couples are also required to attend a Pre-Cana preparation program. Our parish does provide a small group Pre-Cana experience. Contact the priest who is preparing your wedding for more information.

VISiTATION TO THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND |
If you or a family member are unable to attend church because of sickness or age, please contact the parish office so that arrangements can be made for a priest to visit and bring Holy Communion. If any parishioner is hospitalized, please contact us so that we can try and visit the patient.

SCHOOL REGISTRATION |
New students entering first grade are registered each year in March. New students in grades 2 through 8 are registered at the end of June. Please check the bulletin for details or contact the school office.

C.C.D. REGISTRATION |
Public school children grades 2 through 6 are allowed release time on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:10 - 9:00 AM when they attend Religious Education classes with the parochial school children. Pre-registration for students already in the program is in the Spring. New registrations are conducted in late September. Please check the bulletin or contact the Director of Parish Services. NB. Children must attend at least one full year of C.C.17 before any year in which they receive a sacrament.
Pre-Jordan class is required of all parents seeking to have their child(ren) baptized and who have not previously attended pre-baptism instructions. Godparents are strongly encouraged to attend. These classes assists parents seeking to have their child(ren) baptized in understanding and celebrating the baptism of their child(ren). The theology of the sacrament is explored through open discussion. Canon law, parish guidelines regarding the conferral of the sacrament and the roles of both parents and godparents in the faith journey of the child(ren) are examined. Back
